Maxime van Gelderen started Connecting the Dots (CTD) after a run as a marketing PR manager at The Entourage Group in Amsterdam, where she spent years launching restaurants and brands that depended on exactly the kind of access CTD now sells: getting high-net-worth clients into hotels, tables, weddings and private art viewings that don't typically open up on request.

The company, headquartered in Dubai, works through partnerships with the hospitality names that anchor that world — Aman, Cheval Blanc, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula — and staffs itself with travel specialists, fine-dining experts and fashion and art professionals rather than generalist assistants. Membership is limited and selective rather than open to anyone who can pay, positioned around fit with the company's values as much as spending power.

The team is also notably almost entirely female, something CTD frames as central to how it operates rather than incidental: “In a fast-paced world where time is the ultimate luxury, CTD's unique approach, powered by the expertise and passion of its all-female team, offers an unparalleled experience for the elite.”
