Katseye came together through The Debut: Dream Academy, the reality competition HYBE and Geffen Records ran to build a genuinely global girl group, and landed on a six-member lineup — Daniela, Yoonchae, Sophia, Lara, Manon and Megan — that has turned out to be as distinct visually as it is vocally. On stage, the group leans into high-shine K-pop glam, but off it, each member has settled into a beauty identity specific enough that fans can usually tell who's who from the eyeliner alone.
Daniela favors a sharpened, elongated wing that pulls the eye outward, reinforced with liner along the waterline and softened at the edges with smoky shadow, a combination built for the sultrier end of performance makeup. Yoonchae, the group's sole South Korean member, works in the opposite direction, using a high-placed under-eye blush technique borrowed from Korean beauty routines to create a youthful flush, paired with dewy bases and muted lilac or bronze shadow.
Sophia, who leads the group, is known for glossy, well-hydrated lips and a dewy complexion, balanced by precise brows and winged liner that keep the look from tipping into full glam. Lara has built a following around a darker, more theatrical aesthetic, mixing faux freckles and bold liner with kajal and the occasional bindi as a nod to her South Asian background, finished with a brown or berry lip liner under gloss.
Megan's look runs cooler and more experimental, pairing dark eye makeup with bleached brows and the halo hairstyle she has become associated with online, while Manon favors a softer approach built around diffused blush swept broadly across the cheeks and structured, elongated brows. Sophia and Manon are both currently on hiatus from group activities, but the beauty signatures they established with Katseye have outlasted the touring schedule that made them famous.
