At La Dolce Vita, the General Manager of Cosmetic Tailors brings the craftsmanship behind Italy’s beauty industry into the international spotlight

VENICE, ITALY — 11 SEPTEMBER 2026

Italian beauty is celebrated around the world for what appears on the surface — the bottle, the texture, the fragrance, the finished image. Behind that visible luxury, however, lies a sophisticated world of formulation, research, manufacturing and creative development. Massimiliano Giobergia, General Manager of Cosmetic Tailors, the principal private-label division of BEAUTICON VALLEY, works precisely at that intersection. On 11 September, he will join the international guest circle of La Dolce Vita, the Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner and Congress Awards at Ca’ Sagredo, bringing attention to the expertise and craftsmanship that transform a beauty concept into a finished product.

Based around Brescia and connected to a network of more than 50 companies, Cosmetic Tailors approaches private-label cosmetics through the philosophy of sartorial production. Rather than simply placing a name on an existing formula, the company develops products around the identity, ambitions and requirements of each client. Its portfolio includes companies among the world’s top ten global beauty brands, while BEAUTICON VALLEY combines manufacturing and scientific research with an international presence extending to more than 130 countries. Giobergia describes this approach as genuine cosmetic made-to-measure — a philosophy that takes the language of the Italian atelier beyond fashion and into the world of beauty.

Venice provides an especially fitting stage for that story. During the Venice International Film Festival, beauty is placed under an extraordinary global spotlight, but the laboratories, formulators, researchers, manufacturers and creative specialists behind that image rarely receive the same attention as the people appearing before the cameras. Giobergia represents this essential side of the luxury ecosystem. At La Dolce Vita, Italian cosmetic expertise will share the same room with cinema, music, jewellery, diplomacy, entrepreneurship and international society, presenting beauty not as an accessory to culture, but as an industry of innovation, craftsmanship and influence.

The international circle gathered at Ca’ Sagredo reflects that wider vision. Eric Adams, the 110th Mayor of New York City from 2022 to 2025, will join Laurent Anselmi, President of the Monaco Sea Academy, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and later Chief of Staff to H.S.H. Prince Albert II. Egyptian actress Caroline Azmi, philanthropist Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation, and international media and entertainment entrepreneur Al Kash will bring cinema, philanthropy and creative industries into the conversation. Jewellery will be represented by Lidia Weber, Director of Special Projects at Oliver Weber Collection, the evening’s Official Jewellery Partner. The musical programme will feature award-winning soprano Alina Zamalieva, Yuri and Ksenia Wheelman and Rezeda Kalimullina, creating a dialogue between classical tradition, cinematic performance, soul, jazz and pop.

The evening is presented by Thomas Misse and Marek Harmony of Royal Gentlemen Club together with Anna Stukkert, founder and president of the Congress Awards. Their concept for La Dolce Vita is built around the meeting of worlds that rarely occupy the same space — art and business, cinema and diplomacy, luxury and philanthropy, established institutions and contemporary creative voices. For Giobergia, the occasion offers an opportunity to redefine what Italian luxury can mean: not simply the object admired by the consumer, but the expertise, people, technology and craftsmanship that make it possible. On 11 September 2026, inside the historic walls of Ca’ Sagredo, that philosophy will become part of an evening where the essence of Made in Italy meets the international spirit of La Dolce Vita.

La Dolce Vita takes place on 11 September 2026 at Ca’ Sagredo, Venice, during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The black-tie evening is presented by Royal Gentlemen Club and Congress Awards, with Oliver Weber Collection as Official Jewellery Partner.
